Trump defends Stephen Miller pick; Ro Khanna calls it ‘vengeance & retribution’
US President Donald Trump has defended his decision to appoint Stephen Miller as White House Chief of Staff, saying he is a “great manager” who understands his political vision. Asked why he chose Miller to replace Susie Wiles, Trump said he wanted to make a change. Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna criticised the appointment, calling it an “act of vengeance and retribution” against Latinos who had called for abolishing ICE. Khanna said House Democrats would hold Miller accountable.
