‘Already achieved $480 bn’: Piyush Goyal explains India’s $1 trillion export target to KMC students
Speaking at Kirori Mal College, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal explained the ambition behind India’s $1 trillion target. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had encouraged them to set a big goal, even as achieving it required 16% growth. Goyal said India had already recorded 14% growth in the first six months, adding that the country today has the courage and confidence to pursue ambitious targets.
