‘Petrol, diesel and LPG supply remains stable’: Govt explains surge in retail fuel sales
Sujata Sharma, JS, MoPNG said in a press conference that India’s petrol, diesel and LPG supply remains stable, stating, “The supply of petrol, diesel, and LPG in the country remains stable. Refineries are operating at optimum capacity, and crude oil inventories are being adequately maintained,” while adding, “some retail outlets are witnessing unusually high sales” due to a shift of industrial, institutional and commercial fuel purchases to retail outlets.
