The Indian Staffing Federation (ISF) President Lohit Bhatia said, “We are happy to announce that Indian Staffing Federation member companies have contributed a substantial growth of 1.92 lakh new flexi jobs to India's formal employment sector.” The Federation has 110 member companies, including global companies.

While the new jobs in general staffing grew by 7.3% in the July-September quarter on the back of rise in demand in FMCG, e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, logistics, banking, hospitality, tourism, insurance and infrastructure, new jobs in IT sector grew by a modest 2.2% during the second quarter.

Flexi staffing industry grows 6 pc in July-Sept
New jobs in general staffing - which excludes IT staffing - grew 7.3 per cent in July-September, driven by rise in demand in FMCG, e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, logistics, banking, hospitality, tourism, insurance, infrastructure, said ISF's Flexi Staffing Employment Growth report. On the other hand, new jobs in IT staffing remained under pressure, growing a modest 2.2 per cent in September quarter.
