'This is Just the Beginning': 18-Year-Old Payal Nag makes history at World Para Archery Final
Indian para archer Payal Nag wins gold at the World Para Archery Series Final in Bangkok after defeating Sheetal Devi 139–136 in the women’s compound final. The event takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, under the World Archery Para Series circuit. Both Indian archers compete in the women’s compound category, with Nag securing gold and Sheetal Devi taking silver. Payal Nag trains under coach Kuldeep Vedwan in India’s para archery program and began her archery journey in 2023 at Katra training centre. The result highlights India’s continued strong performance in international para archery competitions.
