‘Be happy watching a 3-hour movie—that is not foreign policy’: Owaisi targets PM Modi on US-Iran ceasefire

Hyderabad, Telangana: On US-Iran ceasefire, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi says, "A very delicate ceasefire has happened... India is a very big voice in South Asia, and wherever it comes to talking about peace, we have always played a big role, but I am repeating again that the timing of the Prime Minister's visit to Israel was very wrong... We have always remained impartial and we had the capacity that if two sides are fighting, we could sit them down and get them to talk. I think PM Modi should review this matter and consider what the reason was that a neighbouring country, which has always troubled us, whether in the form of terrorism or otherwise, played this role. Iran has always been much closer to us... We hope that the government will review this and find out why this happened..."
