Sukhoi Su-30MKI crashes in Assam's Karbi Anglong district; IAF launches search operations
A Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed in Karbi Anglong district of Assam while on a training mission, with search operations launched in the area, according to a statement released by the Indian Air Force on Friday. “The Su-30MKI which was on a training mission, crashed in the area of Karbi Anglong, Assam, approx 60 km from Jorhat. Search operations are underway,” IAF said in a post on X.
