INS Taragiri Commissioned: Project 17A stealth warship with BrahMos joins Indian Navy
India commissioned its latest stealth warship, INS Taragiri, into the Navy on April 3 in Visakhapatnam. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the ceremony for the 6,670-tonne Project 17A frigate built by Mazagon Dock. Featuring 75% indigenous content, advanced stealth, and BrahMos missiles, it joins the Eastern Fleet to boost Indo-Pacific power.
