Lower scores now stand a better chance
With the departure of high-ranking candidates, lower-scoring profiles now have improved chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency, CIC News reported. The shift in the candidate pool has slightly lowered the overall competitiveness, even as the total number of profiles grew modestly by 566, reaching 237,120.All other score ranges in the pool saw moderate increases. For instance, profiles in the 351–400 range rose by 752, while those in the 471–480 range increased by 530. The only reduction occurred in the 501–600 band, highlighting the impact of the recent CEC draw.
Understanding your Position in the Pool
Candidates can now evaluate their standing more effectively using the updated percentile rankings. Profiles in the 501–600 CRS range represent roughly the top 0.29%–6.89% of all candidates, indicating that even mid-range scores could now be competitive for upcoming draws.(Join our ETNRI WhatsApp channel for all the latest updates)
