Following US President Donald Trump's speech and the breakdown of US-Iran peace negotiations, investors are keeping a close eye on gold and silver prices. According to a senior Pakistani source who spoke to AFP, Pakistan was attempting to achieve an extended ceasefire that would allow for diplomacy and to get Iran and the United States back together for a second round of negotiations.

Gold prices at leading brands such as Tanishq, Kalyan Jewellers, Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds saw a decrease as of 01:50 pm (Tuesday, April 14, 2026). Gold rates at the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA) were not updated because of the Ambedkar Jayanti holiday.
