The Centre is planning to build underground railway tracks along a 40-km strategic corridor in West Bengal, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said. The project covers the Siliguri Corridor, or ‘Chicken’s Neck’, which links the Northeast with the rest of India.
