US President Trump reacted negatively to Fox News during the midterm election results at the White House.
US President Donald Trump has reacted on the 2026 midterm election results late Tuesday, November 4, claiming Republicans would have won by a landslide if he had been on the ballot, as early results pointed to significant Democratic gains and a possible shift in control of the House of Representatives.

“I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

The post came after Trump lashed out at Fox News on election night, accusing the conservative network of being against him and blaming its declining ratings on its coverage of Democrats. In a series of posts, he criticized the network’s polling and singled out one of its hosts.

“FoxNews Ratings are way down (27%!) because they’re spending too much time covering the Trump Deranged Dumocrats!” Trump wrote, adding that the network was “AGAINST me”.

Trump also questioned Fox News’ coverage of Democratic candidates and alleged that Fox Corp. was donating money to Democratic political groups and lawmakers.

The president’s comments came as Democrats made gains across several states. CNN projected that Democrats would take control of the House, where Republicans have a slight 218-214 seat advantage, according to election updates cited in the reports.
