Modi must have done something right to win for 25 years: Abdullah

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must have done something right for people to have voted for him repeatedly over the past 25 years at the state and national levels.

Abdullah, responding to a query about Modi completing 25 years in public life on the sidelines of a function here, said, "It is not easy to continuously win elections for 25 years - first at the state level and then at the central level. Well, on my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues, I extend my congratulations to him," Abdullah said.
