Speaking to about Amit Shah's visit, Telangana BJP State Chief Spokesperson NV Subhash said the campaign was intended to counter what he described as false propaganda by the INDIA bloc.

"This is a counter-narrative to the INDIA bloc's campaign... To counter this false propaganda, the Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah will visit Hyderabad today as part of the 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' campaign... The Election Commission was constituted long before the BJP came to power..." Subhash said.

The BJP has launched the nationwide 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' campaign as a counter to the opposition's allegations and campaign against the party.
