After keeping fans entertained for three seasons, Mirzapur has finally arrived on the big screen. Mirzapur: The Movie was released in theatres on September 4, bringing back popular characters and their familiar rivalries. After its theatrical run, fans have been waiting to know when they can watch the film online. The wait is finally over, as the makers have confirmed its OTT release.

Mirzapur: The Movie OTT release date and platform

The makers have officially announced that Mirzapur: The Movie will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 30, 2026. With some of the most loved characters from the franchise making a comeback, the film moves the story of the crime-infested world of Mirzapur forward.

The film is a part of the popular Mirzapur franchise that has garnered a loyal audience over three seasons. But the movie doesn’t pick up right where Season 3 left off. Instead, it’s an interquel, with its story set between the events of the first season, which premiered in 2018.

One of the biggest attractions for fans is the return of Munna Bhaiya. Divyenndu reprises his popular character, while Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen Bhaiya and Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit. Their characters have been central to the franchise's power struggles, rivalries and changing equations.

Mirzapur: The Movie box office collection

Released in September, Mirzapur: The Movie reportedly opened with Rs 28.11 crore in India on its first day. The film went on to record a worldwide gross collection of Rs 336.83 crore during its theatrical run.

According to Sacnilk, its domestic net collection stood at Rs 233.73 crore, while its India gross earnings reached Rs 275.83 crore. The film also earned Rs 61 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide total to Rs 336.83 crore. It reportedly delivered a return on investment of more than 159 per cent.

The film received mixed-to-positive reviews from audiences and critics. Much of its appeal came from the return of familiar characters, their confrontations and the dark humour associated with the franchise. Its action sequences, sharp dialogues and performances also contributed to the audience response.

Mirzapur: The Movie cast and storyline

The film brings together several characters from the franchise, including Guddu Pandit, Bablu Pandit and Munna Tripathi.

Along with Divyenndu, Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal, the film features Ravi Kishan, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Abhishek Banerjee, Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha and Sonal Chauhan, among others.

With its theatrical run now behind it, the film is available for audiences who missed it in cinemas as well as those who want to revisit the franchise's familiar characters.
