Hindustan Zinc

Shares of Hindustan Zinc surged 5.4% intraday before settling with gains of 4% at Rs 667.20 on the NSE. The rally was after the government sharply increased customs duties on gold and silver to 15% from 6%, sparking a rally in the precious metals' prices and boosting investor sentiment for the largest domestic producer of silver in India.

Groww

Shares of Billionbrains Garage Ventures jumped 6.3% intraday before closing at Rs 188.41 on the NSE, up 3%, following a block deal in Groww's parent company on Tuesday. Among the sellers were Peak XV Partners and two other US-based investors who sold stakes worth nearly Rs 5,326 crore.

Vodafone Idea

Shares of Vodafone Idea settled at Rs 12.83, surging 8% after the telecom company said Tuesday that its board will meet on May 16 to consider a proposal to raise funds through the issuance of equity shares and warrants on a preferential basis, after the recent AGR relief announced by the government.

Tata Power

Shares of Tata Power Company fell 7% intraday to finally end 3% lower at Rs 405.85 on the NSE after its consolidated net profit in Q4 fell 4% to Rs 996 crore from Rs 1,043 crore recorded in the same period last year. Revenue from operations declined 13% YoY to Rs 14,900 crore, compared with Rs 17,096 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

MTAR Technologies

Shares of multibagger MTAR Technologies closed 8.24% higher at Rs 6,763.50 on the NSE after it reported a strong jump in Q4 earnings, helped by robust growth in revenue and improved operating performance across its businesses. The Hyderabad-based precision engineering company posted a consolidated PAT of Rs 44.28 crore, 223% higher than Rs 13.72 crore reported in the same period last year.

Dixon Technologies

Shares of Dixon Technologies surged 10% to close at Rs 11,124 despite a 36% YoY drop in its consolidated net profit at Rs 256 crore. Revenue from operations for Q4FY26 rose 2% YoY to Rs 10,511 crore, compared with Rs 10,293 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Berger Paints

Shares of Berger Paints India settled 4% up at Rs 507.70 on the BSE on Wednesday after it reported a more than 27% YoY rise in consolidated net profit in Q4 at Rs 335.3 crore, supported by strong volume growth and improved gross margins.

Texmaco Rail

Shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering rallied as much as 14% to close at Rs 120.20 on the NSE on Wednesday after the company reported a net profit of Rs 57.7 crore for the quarter, up 45.1% from Rs 39.8 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue for the quarter declined 13.3% YoY to Rs 1,167 crore from Rs 1,346.4 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.
