Shares of HCL Technologies ended 11% lower at Rs 1,285.30 on the NSE on Wednesday after its Q4 earnings failed to impress the Street. The company on Tuesday reported a 4.2% rise in consolidated net profit for the March quarter at Rs 4,488 crore, compared to Rs 4,307 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations came in at Rs 33,981 crore, marking a 12% increase.

Shares of Tech Mahindra settled 2.55% lower at Rs 1,462.60 on the NSE following the company's 16% YoY growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,354 crore. Its revenue from operations in the reporting period increased 13% YoY to Rs 15,076 crore. The stock recovered from its day's low of Rs 1,404.10, which was a 6.4% drop from the Tuesday closing price.

The stock fell despite a 28% growth in its January-March FY26 net profit, reaching Rs 220 crore. The revenue from operations in Q4FY26 stood at Rs 994 crore, up 9% over Rs 908 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. The company also recommended a dividend of Rs 75 per equity share.
