Domestic stock markets ended sharply lower on Friday amid selling pressure across sectors. The biggest spoilsport was IT, which fell over 5% at the index level. Pharma, health and energy stocks were other big losers. Infosys:

Shares of Infosys ended 7% lower at Rs 1,154.60 on the NSE following its Q4 earnings that failed to excite the Street. India's second-largest IT company by Mcap reported a 21% YoY rise in consolidated net profit in Q4 while posting a 13% uptick in revenue from operations.

IEX:

Shares of Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) fell 5% from the day's high to end in focus on Friday after the company reported an 11% year-on-year (YoY) growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 130 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, while revenue grew 13% YoY to Rs 196 crore during the quarter under review.

Waaree Energies:

The shares of Waaree Energies crashed more than 5% intraday before closing 3% lower at Rs 3,305.70 after US Commerce Department announced preliminary anti-dumping duties on solar cells and panels imported from India, Indonesia and Laos, spooking investors.

Lux Industries:

Shares of Lux Industries settled 5.32% lower at Rs 1,654.10 after the company said its board had granted in-principle approval for the proposed demerger of the business. Ace Investor Mukul Mahavir Agrawal owns a 1.47% stake in the company, NSE data showed.

Himadri Speciality Chemical:

Shares of Himadri Speciality Chemical ended 6% higher on the NSE at Rs 566.15 after the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 201 crore for Q4 FY26, up 29% YoY. The firm's revenue from operations increased 13.5% YoY to Rs 1,288 crore during the quarter under review.

Websol Energy System:

Shares of Websol Energy System continued their strong upward momentum on Friday, rising as much as 5.24% intraday to touch Rs 112.12. It finally ended at Rs 110.85, rising 4%. The stock has now gained for three straight sessions, taking its total surge to nearly 27%.

Adani Energy Solutions:

Shares of Adani Energy Solutions hit a fresh 52-week high before closing the session at Rs 1,411.95, gaining 3.72%. It was its second consecutive positive closing following a 6% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 684 crore for the fourth quarter. Revenue from operations grew 17% YoY to Rs 7,443 crore during the period.
