Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, the ambitious cinematic venture helmed by Aditya Dhar, is continuing its extraordinary dominance at the box office. As it stepped into its sixteenth day in theatres on April 3, 2026, the film maintained remarkable traction, showing no signs of slowing down. Having already crossed the ₹900 crore net mark in India by its fourteenth day—a rare achievement previously matched only by Pushpa 2: The Rule featuring Allu Arjun—the action spectacle has now pushed its domestic total to an impressive ₹939.46 crore.

On the global front, the film’s earnings have surged to a massive ₹1,492.17 crore, setting a new benchmark. In doing so, it has overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which starred Prabhas, to emerge as the top-grossing Indian film in the North American market—an achievement that highlights its widespread international appeal.

Trade estimates shared by Sacnilk.com suggest a renewed surge in collections on its sixteenth day, with earnings climbing to ₹21.55 crore after a slight slowdown on day fifteen, when it brought in ₹18 crore. This rebound underscores the film’s strong hold over audiences and its sustained popularity well into its third week.

Serving as the concluding chapter in a two-part narrative, the film is written and directed by Aditya Dhar and jointly produced by him alongside Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The cast is led by Ranveer Singh and features prominent performances from Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and others, many of whom reprise their roles from the first installment.

The narrative centers on an undercover Indian intelligence operative navigating dangerous criminal networks in Karachi while seeking justice for the 26/11 attacks and tackling escalating threats. The storyline draws inspiration from several real-world developments in South Asia, weaving in elements reminiscent of events such as Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general election, and the 2016 Indian banknote demonetisation, adding layers of realism to its high-octane narrative.
